- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Nutella or more to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla extract; stir until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Spread 2/3 of the oat mixture into the prepared baking dish and press evenly.
Gently warm Nutella in the microwave for 15–20 seconds to make it spreadable, then spread over the oat layer.
Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the Nutella layer.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
