  • 1 cup dried pasta Any short pasta works well.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use sharp cheddar for best flavor.
  • ΒΌ cup ranch seasoning Can use homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup onions Chopped.
  • 2 cloves garlic Mince before adding.
  • 2 cups broth Beef or chicken broth works best.

Cooking Process

  • Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, until crumbled and no pink remains.
  • Add chopped onions and minced garlic; cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the dried pasta, broth, and ranch seasoning. Bring to a boil uncovered for about 5 minutes.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer until the pasta is al dente, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheese until melted, about 2 minutes.
  • Let the dish rest for 2-3 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Feel free to customize with additional veggies like spinach or bell peppers. Can also add hot sauce or smoked paprika for added flavor.
