Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups pasta (such as penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add diced onion and sauté until soft.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add pasta and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to suit your spice preference. You can use any type of pasta you have on hand, but cooking times may vary. For extra flavor, consider adding some chopped bell peppers or diced tomatoes when cooking the onion. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
