  • 12 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper, to taste
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on the ravioli to prevent sticking if needed.
  • Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak on all sides until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • If desired, add the red pepper flakes. Then return the cooked ravioli and steak to the skillet, tossing gently to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce. Simmer for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For the best texture, use fresh or refrigerated ravioli. Adjust the garlic and red pepper flakes to your taste. For a healthier option, swap heavy cream with half-and-half or plant-based cream.
