Fresh Fruits

  • 3 pieces Mandarin oranges Peeled and sectioned
  • 2 cups Strawberries Halved
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh
  • 1 cup Blackberries Fresh
  • 1 cup Raspberries Fresh

Poppy Seed Dressing

  • 2 tbsp Honey For sweetness
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar For tanginess
  • 1 tbsp Poppy seeds For texture
  • ΒΌ cup Olive oil For emulsification
  • 1 pinch Sea salt To enhance flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation of Fruits

  • Wash berries under cold water and pat dry.
  • Peel and section mandarins, making sure to remove the white pith.
  • Halve strawberries and leave blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries whole.

Preparing the Dressing

  • In a bowl, whisk together honey and apple cider vinegar until combined.
  • Slowly add olive oil while whisking to create a smooth dressing.
  • Fold in poppy seeds and a pinch of sea salt.

Assembling the Salad

  • In a large bowl, layer the mandarins at the bottom.
  • Add a layer of mixed berries on top.
  • Gently toss the fruit with half of the poppy seed dressing just before serving.
  • Serve remaining dressing on the side.

Notes

For added texture, consider mixing in nuts or seeds like almonds or chia seeds. Adjust the dressing to personal taste if needed.
