Main Ingredients
- 1 lb pork tenderloin trimmed and patted dry
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika or Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil for searing
Cooking
Rub the pork. Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, then coat the dry tenderloin evenly.
Sear. Brown the pork in hot olive oil for about 5 minutes, turning to color all sides.
Roast. Roast at 400 degrees F for 18 to 21 minutes until the center reaches 145 degrees F.
Rest. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing into rounds.
Substitutions: Italian seasoning can replace the paprika.
Tips: Check the temperature early since tenderloin is lean and cooks fast.
Storage: Refrigerate for up to 3 days and reheat gently until 165 degrees F.
