Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs cod fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • ½ cup almond flour or crushed pork rinds for coating
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Cod:

  • Pat cod fillets dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne if using.

Coat the Fish:

  • Place almond flour (or pork rind crumbs) on a plate and dredge each cod fillet, pressing lightly to adhere.

Pan-Fry the Fish:

  • Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Place cod in the pan and cook 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through (internal temp 145°F / 63°C).

Serve:

  • Transfer to a plate and serve hot with lemon wedges and optional keto-friendly sides like sautéed greens or cauliflower mash.
