  • 1 box yellow cake mix (approximately 18 1/4 ounces) You can use different flavors of cake mix for variation.
  • 1 can peaches in heavy syrup (32 ounces) You can use fresh or frozen peaches as substitute.
  • ½ cup butter Melted butter can be used for easier distribution.
  • to taste ground cinnamon Sprinkle on top for added flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish and place the peaches at the bottom.
  • If using canned peaches, drain the syrup to reduce sweetness.
  • Spread the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Dot the cake mix with pieces of butter or melt a full stick and pour it over.
  • Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.

Baking

  • Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.
