Ingredients
  

For the pie

  • 1 pie crust 1 pie crust Use baked pie crust if desired.
  • 1 cup 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1 cup 1 cup creamy peanut butter Use creamy peanut butter for best texture.
  • 1 cup 1 cup whipped cream Freshly whipped is recommended.
  • ½ cup 1/2 cup powdered sugar Adjust to taste for sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chopped peanuts (for garnish) Add just before serving to keep them crunchy.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven if using a baked pie crust. If using a store-bought crust, skip to step 2.
  • Bake the pie crust according to package directions and let cool.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the hot fudge sauce and creamy peanut butter until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whip the cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.

Assembly

  • Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Serving

  • Before serving, garnish with chopped peanuts and additional whipped cream if desired.

Notes

To store, cover tightly with plastic wrap or place in an airtight container, keeping it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a sweeter pie, increase the powdered sugar as desired. Chill overnight for a more set filling.
