- 1 oz triple sec substitute orange juice for a non alcoholic version
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup adjust to taste
- 2 cup ice
- 1 pinch coarse salt for the rim, optional
Cooking
Rim the glasses. For a salted rim, moisten the edges with lime juice and dip them in coarse salt.
Blend. Combine the fruit, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, syrup, and ice in a blender and blend for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth.
Adjust. Taste, then add syrup or lime juice if needed and pulse once.
Serve. Pour into glasses and garnish with blueberries and pineapple.
Substitutions: Use vodka or white rum for the tequila. For a mocktail, use orange juice and sparkling water.
Tips: Frozen fruit makes the drink thicker, so use less ice. Taste before adding syrup.
Storage: Refrigerate the mixture without ice in a sealed container for up to 24 hours, then blend again with fresh ice.
