Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chopped pecans You can substitute with walnuts or almonds.
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 ¾ cups cold milk
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish Feel free to add extra chocolate shavings on top for decoration.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine flour, chopped pecans, and melted butter.
  • Press this mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then let it cool completely.

Filling

  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until creamy.
  • Fold in half of the whipped topping until well combined.
  • Spread this cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate and vanilla pudding mixes with cold milk.
  • Pour this pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Spread the remaining whipped topping on top.
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Store covered tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, consider freezing, but be aware the texture may change upon thawing.
