  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the Crispix cereal and pecans.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Pour the melted butter over the cereal and nuts, and stir to coat evenly.
  • Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet in an even layer.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and crunchy.
  • Allow to cool before breaking into pieces.

Notes

To keep your Praline Crunch fresh, store it in an airtight container at room temperature. It should last for about two weeks. Just make sure it’s fully cooled before placing it in the container. For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt before baking. If you don’t have pecans, you can substitute them with almonds, walnuts, or any nuts you prefer. Stir the mixture every five minutes while baking to ensure even browning.
