Ingredients
  

Red Layer

  • 3.5 cups ice
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1.5 ounces blanco tequila (1 shot)
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 2 ounces grenadine
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice

White Layer

  • 3.5 cups ice
  • 1.5 ounces blanco tequila (1 shot)
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar (or honey)

Blue Layer

  • 3.5 cups ice
  • 1.5 ounces blanco tequila (1 shot)
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 2 ounces blue curaçao
  • 1 ounce lime juice

Instructions
 

Preparation of Layers

  • Make the red layer by combining the ice, strawberries, tequila, Cointreau, grenadine, and lime juice in a high-powered blender. Pour evenly into 6 glasses. Rinse out the blender.
  • Make the white layer by combining the ice, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and agave in the blender. Pour evenly over the red layer in each of the 6 glasses. Rinse out the blender.
  • Make the blue layer by combining the ice, tequila, Cointreau, blue curaçao, and lime juice in the blender. Pour evenly over the white layer in each of the 6 glasses.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh fruit and enjoy immediately after preparing.

Notes

For garnishing, add fresh strawberries or blueberries, and consider using colorful straws. Best enjoyed fresh for optimal flavor and texture.
