Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Chocolate Topping

  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter until well combined.
  • Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt together the chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of peanut butter until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the graham cracker crust and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  • Cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to press the crust mixture down firmly for a solid base. Use a sharp knife to cut the bars for clean edges. For an extra touch, sprinkle some chopped peanuts on top of the chocolate layer before chilling.
