  • 1 pound spicy breakfast sausage, uncooked Use hot sausage for more heat if preferred.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is very soft for easier mixing.
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel tomatoes and green chilies, drained You can swap Rotel for any spicy diced tomatoes.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Experiment with other cheese types, like pepper jack.
  • 1 ½ cups Bisquick baking mix

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, Rotel tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and Bisquick.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
