  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 8 oz asparagus Cut into even pieces.
  • 8 oz mushrooms Fresh mushrooms preferred.
  • 1 clove garlic (minced) Adjust according to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the asparagus and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and continue to sauté until both are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
