Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 medium yellow potatoes thinly sliced
  • 8 oz Colby Jack cheese freshly grated
  • 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 10 oz can cream of celery soup
  • cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup French’s fried onions
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook Ground Beef

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

Prepare Sauce:

  • In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, milk, all-purpose seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Assemble Casserole:

  • In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
  • Spread half of the cooked ground beef over the potatoes.
  • Pour half of the soup mixture over the beef.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and soup mixture.

Bake:

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.

Add Cheese and Onions:

  • Remove the foil, sprinkle the grated Colby Jack cheese and French’s fried onions on top.

Bake Uncovered:

  • Return the dish to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve:

  • Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
