- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ⅔ cup vinegar such as apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup lemon-lime soda
- 2 –3 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, mix together brown sugar, vinegar, lemon-lime soda, garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
