Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1.25 cups warm milk Should be comfortable to the touch.
  • ¼ cup olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg white plus 2 tablespoons water For egg wash.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter For brushing after baking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, add yeast and sugar.
  • Then add warm milk and let it bubble for 5 minutes.
  • Add oil, salt, and eggs.
  • Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time, and knead for at least 5-7 minutes.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Divide the dough into 24 pieces and shape them into balls.
  • Arrange in a baking pan and let it rest and rise for another 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Brush the dough with egg wash for a golden brown color on the edges.
  • Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes.
  • Once baked, brush with melted butter.

Serving

  • Serve your soft and buttery rolls fresh out of the oven.
  • They are delicious on their own or paired with butter, honey, or jam.
  • These rolls also go wonderfully with soups, salads, or as a side for any main dish.

Notes
