Strawberry Acai Refresher

Ingredients
  

For the base

  • 2 cups white grape juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced and hulled Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon acai powder
  • 1 teaspoon green coffee extract powder Can be omitted for a caffeine-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon passion fruit powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup freeze dried strawberries Some reserved for topping.
  • ½ cup water Substitute with lemonade for a sweeter drink.
  • ice ice For shaking.

Instructions
 

Preparation of Base

  • Combine white grape juice, sugar, and hulled and sliced strawberries in a saucepan.
  • Heat the mixture and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Set aside to steep for another 10 minutes to infuse strawberry flavor into the syrup.
  • Strain the syrup to remove the strawberry pieces, returning it to low heat.
  • Add acai powder, green coffee extract, passion fruit powder, and lemon juice. Whisk until fully blended.

Shaking and Serving

  • In a shaker, combine a few freeze dried strawberries, about half a cup of the prepared base, and half a cup of water with ice.
  • Shake well and pour it over ice in a glass.
  • Garnish the drink with more freeze dried strawberries.

Notes

Store leftover syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Mix with water or lemonade to enjoy later.
