Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full sheets)
  • 0.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted

For the filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened to room temperature.
  • 1 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cups whipped cream

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form a crust.
  • Bake the crust for about 8-10 minutes, then let it cool.

Filling

  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  • Layer the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  • Top with whipped cream.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing. Press the crust firmly in the pie dish to keep it together when slicing. For added flavor, you can drizzle some strawberry syrup over the pie before serving.
