  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder To taste
  • ½ teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning To taste
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup Onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup Green Pepper, chopped
  • 1 count Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Honey BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 2 to 3 slices Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Sharp Shredded Cheese

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ cup Honey BBQ Sauce

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large bowl, add your ground beef.
  • Add in all of your ingredients: garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, egg, honey BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and milk.
  • Mix everything together well using your hands.
  • Shape the prepared meat mixture into a football-like shape.
  • Press the center to create a 4-inch hole.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese inside the hole and cover it by carefully shaping the meat around it.

Cooking

  • In a separate bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and honey BBQ sauce to create the meatloaf sauce.
  • Pour the sauce over the shaped meatloaf in the baking dish.
  • Bake for about 1 hour, or until fully cooked.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the stuffed meatloaf cool completely. Place it in an airtight container and refrigerate. It can last in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze it wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil for up to 3 months.
