Ingredients
  

Fruits

  • 1 can Mandarin oranges, drained Use canned for better texture.
  • 1 can Crushed pineapple, drained Canned works best to avoid issues with gelatin setting.
  • 1 cup Sliced bananas Add just before serving to prevent browning.

Gelatin Base

  • 1 pkg Jell-O (regular or sugar-free, your choice) Flavor options like lemon, orange, or lime work well.
  • 2 cups Boiling water For dissolving the gelatin.
  • 1 cup Cold water To set the gelatin.

Optional Add-ins

  • ½ cup Mini marshmallows For added sweetness.
  • ¼ cup Shredded coconut Adds flavor and texture.

Instructions
 

Prepare Gelatin Base

  • In a large bowl, dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
  • Add cold water and mix well.

Prepare Fruits

  • While the gelatin cools, prepare the fruits by slicing bananas and draining canned fruits.
  • Toss the fruits into a large mixing bowl.

Combine Ingredients

  • Once the gelatin is partially set but still pourable, gently fold the fruits into the gelatin mixture.
  • Add marshmallows and shredded coconut, if using.

Chill and Set

  • Pour the mixture into a Jell-O mold or decorative dish.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until fully set.

Notes

For added beauty, garnish with fresh fruit before serving. Keep in mind that fruit like bananas can brown, so add them last.
