- 1 can 21 oz cherry pie filling
- 1 can 20 oz crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 1 box 15.25 oz yellow cake mix
- ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- Optional: chopped nuts e.g., pecans or walnuts, shredded coconut
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Dump the cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple (with juice) into the dish and stir to combine.
Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit mixture.
Drizzle melted butter over the entire top (do not stir).
Optionally, sprinkle chopped nuts or shredded coconut on top.
