- 12 ounces cream of mushroom soup

Season and Sear: Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
Prepare Slow Cooker: Place the sliced onions at the bottom of a slow cooker. Arrange the seared cube steaks on top of the onions.
