Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika if using.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  • Flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature should be 165°F or 75°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with honey.
  • Once the chicken is fully cooked, reduce the heat to low and add the butter-honey mixture to the skillet, spooning it over the chicken for 1-2 minutes.

Serving

  • Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with your choice of sides.

Notes

To store leftovers, place the cooled chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep well for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it in the microwave or on the stove until heated through. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste. Experiment with herbs and spices to find your perfect flavor combination.
