Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast shredded or cubed
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups cooked pasta penne or rotini
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix base ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, marinara sauce, pasta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well coated.
  • Assemble casserole: Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  • Prepare topping: In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle over the casserole.
  • Bake: Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve: Let sit for 5 minutes before garnishing with fresh herbs and serving.
