  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, softened Ensure butter is softened, not melted.
  • 0.75 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 0.75 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the milk until the dough is smooth.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week or freeze for up to three months. Make sure to cool properly before storing.
