Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chunks semi-sweet or dark

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chunks evenly.
  • Scoop dough (about 1.5 tablespoons per cookie) onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 9–11 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are just set.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
