  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter Use either for sautéing.
  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional) Can be added for extra flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks, until browned.
  • Stir in the cubed Velveeta cheese and milk, and cook until melted and combined.
  • Add the cooked pasta and diced tomatoes (if using), and mix well to combine everything.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Garnish with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of parmesan cheese if desired. Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
