Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups cornbread mix (482 grams or 2 (8.5-ounce) boxes)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley (2 grams)
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese (227 grams)
  • cup milk (151 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (42 grams, melted or ⅜ stick)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cornbread mix, cheddar cheese, and garlic powder.
  • Add the milk and stir just until everything is mixed together.
  • Using a spoon, drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter, sprinkle dried parsley, and add a little sea salt on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 13-15 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately or transfer to a cooling rack if you want to serve them later.

Notes

Best served warm. Pair with butter, soup, chili, or salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
