Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz 12 oz (340g) penne or rotini pasta

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb 1 lb (450g) ground beef Cooked until browned
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp olive oil For cooking the beef
  • ½ cup 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced Added for flavor
  • 2 cloves 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups 2 cups heavy cream For the sauce
  • 1 ½ cups 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Added for cheesiness
  • ½ cup 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped (optional) For added flavor, optional

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  • If using, stir in the chopped dill pickles.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the beef and cheese sauce.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

To store leftovers, place the pasta in an airtight container and refrigerate for 3 to 5 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat or microwave, adding a splash of milk or cream if needed. For variations, use ground turkey or lean beef, swap cheddar for mozzarella, or add blue cheese.
