Ingredients
  

For the Mojito

  • 1 piece lemon cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Mango pulp (store-bought) Can also use frozen mango pulp, thawed.
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons Sugar Adjust based on desired sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons Mint leaves Use fresh mint for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) Use freshly squeezed for better taste.
  • 1 cup Club soda (as required) Top off as desired.
  • as required cups Ice cubes Add according to preference.

Preparation

  • In a tall jug or pitcher, add the mint leaves, sugar, and lemon wedges.
  • Use a muddler to gently muddle the mint leaves and lemon, being careful not to over-muddle.
  • Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and mango puree. Mix well to dissolve the sugar.
  • Add ice cubes according to your preference.
  • Top off with club soda or sparkling water and stir well.
  • Garnish with extra mint leaves and lemon wedges.

Notes

Serve in tall glasses filled with ice for a refreshing drink. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and drink within a day. Keep mint separate to avoid sogginess. Experiment with different fruits for variations or add a splash of rum for an alcoholic version.
