Ingredients
  

  • pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mix together yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, turmeric (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • Add chicken and coat thoroughly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
  • Remove excess marinade from chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let rest for a few minutes, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
